Paint The Town
Founded in 2006, Paint The Town is a project of the Wellsville Ministerial Association to organize volunteers to paint homes in Wellsville.
The mission of Paint the Town is to:
(1) Help those who need help to improve the appearance of their homes.
(2) Build friendships among fellow church members and neighbors from the community
as we work elbow-to-elbow to help beautify the Village.
Accomplishments: In 2006, approximately 85 volunteers worked countless hours between mid-June and late November to paint seven houses in Wellsville. Financially, this was made possible by donations from churches, individuals, the Ministerial Association, businesses and community groups, along with a generous discount from the Sherwin Williams Company.
Coming in 2008: Watch for announcements in the spring of 2008 regarding:
(1) The opportunity to recommend homes to be painted this season.
(2) Opportunities to make financial contributions to Paint the Town.
(3) Volunteer opportunities.
