Richard "Rick" Williams, a lifelong resident of Wellsville, was appointed to the position of
Zoning Officer in January of this year when the position was vacated by James Saracco, who was appointed to
Village Administrator.
Among other duties, Rick is responsible for issuing permits required by the Zoning Code. He
is to examine the premises for which permits have been issued and make necessary inspections to see that the provisions
of law have been met. He is responsible for investigating complaints/inquiries regarding possible infractions. If
he finds that a person is not in compliance, it is the Zoning Officer's responsibility to issue such notice.
